View Full Version : How early can we check in?

We are, unfortunately, having to move hotels after our first night (Music to Movies). We want to be at the park that day, and we don't want to wait until we get back to check in, so will Movies let us check in like at 9am, even if the room is not ready?? We have a car, so the bags are not a problem, I just want to have it all out of the way when we get back that evening.

I've checked in to other Disney resorts before the room was ready because of an early flight, etc. As far as I know it's not really a problem. In fact, bell services will hold your bags so that you can go do whatever. The only thing is that you might have to come back to get new resort cards since they probably won't put your key access on your card until you can actually get into the room. That's not a real big hassle though.

You can check in before you go to the parks at the new resort. The room might not be ready. If it isn't they will give you a number you can call to check on it. When you find out it is ok you can go right to your room. They will have given you your keys when you checked in. You just didn't know the room number until the phone call saying it is ready. We do this with no problems.

Last year we were checked in and in our room by 7:15am at ASMU

It's never been a problem for us at all. We arrived early in the morning and we were always able to check in, get the passes we needed and then they held our bags so we didn't waste one glorious moment!

We are arriving at the YC about 8am. So, I am checking in, leaving luggage with Bell Hop and heading off to the parks. I don't want to waste a minute of our park passes.

You can check in as soon as their computers turn over - around 7-7:15 a.m. We stayed at POR and switched from room-only to a package the day of our wedding - we kept the same room. I had hoped to switch at midnight - after all it is the next day;) but no luck with that!

We have checked in at 6 AM with no problem and the room was ready also.
