Disney Club Membership Questions

I'm thinking of joining the Disney Club to get any added benefits for our upcoming trip in Feb.

If I sign up on-line it is not a secure site. Has anyone had any problems with this? I am concerned about putting out my credit card number. Am I just being paranoid?

Also, what benefits can I actually look for if I am a member? Ticket/room?

Jillybee - I haven't signed up online - but I have read here that if you them directly to enroll, you can give them the c.card info and they will give you you're membership number over the phone, then wait for the actual card in the mail.

as far as benefits go..I've heard that it offers you a 5% discount on passes. I'm not sure however about how much of a discount there is on rooms, haven't used the card yet.....I'm sure someone else here can give you more information...hope this helped!

I called them direct to enroll and was e-mailed my membership number to me the next day and the membership package came within 4 days.

Check with your works HR department if they are enrolled with the program you can get $10 off the 39.95 fee.

I have had the DC for several years and the reason why I continue to renew is because I have consistently received discounts for hotels.
It is not as good as it used to be. They now require a hefty amount that you must spend at World of Disney to get a discount but as for hotels at Disney, it is good.
I am going to Coronado Springs resort this summer for $99 with my DC and my Annual Pass. Regular price is around $149.
