I am getting very frustrated with my recovery from surgery. So, I was thinking perhaps you guys could sneak in some extra sit ups for me. I can't do them now, I can't really do anything. So, it would really feel great knowing if each of you could just do 1 extra crunch, or push up, whatever, in my name, just let me know, and I will visualize it! lol!!!
I have to put some humor in my situation, it is driving me crazy....

I pledge 10 extra for you!! I will let you know once I do them tonight. This way you can see if you got any results! LOL!

I'm going to have to join you in this boat, Beastlover! Can someone go walking for me this afternoon? About 2-3 miles should do it!
I caught a nasty bug last week (from BF who actually had it a lot worse). I usually shake these things quickly, but today I am actually home sick from work, which is rare!
(Seriously Beastlover, I hope your recovery is going well, that takes priority right now.)

How about 1 a night? LOL!! I am *not* a sit-up person, so throwing in 1 sit-up a night for you would be something totally different. ;)
LuvTigger -- how about if I do an extra walk up and down the stairs for you? ;)

Okay, I pledge to do my new 15-minute abs routine three times this week. I've been meaning to get into a regular habit with that:rolleyes: So now's my chance!!!
Beastlover and Luvtigger, I hope you're both up and around soon. Until then, take good care of yourselves, and leave the workouts to us!

Ok Beastlover,
I did 30 total crunches tonight!! I think I will have to keep that up now. THANKS! I felt that a little in my neck. Anyone know how to do crunches that won't hurt your back or neck??
Luvtigger, its a little late to go out walking tonight but I can throw you my run from the football field to my car trying to beat the rain. I was huffing and puffing by the time I got over to the soccer fields where my car was parked!
I was running so hard because I was afraid I would get soaked and I was on my way to my WW's Weigh-in.
Thanks for inspiring me!
Melanie
Is it too late to make my pledge? ;) I did my ab routine yesterday before I saw your post. Today is push ups (manly man and the bent knee ones) tricep and shoulder workout with the weights. I'll work in a few extra ones and send that muscle making energy your way!!! And then you can come rollerblading with me!!!
Oh, I sure hope your spirits are lifted! :) Hang in there, not much longer now until you are all recovered and back in your workout routine!
