Weather/Clothes for the 1st week of October?

What's the weather usually like the first week of October. I know its pretty warm during the day, but does it cool at nite? Will we need long sleeves at all?

It should still be pretty hot. I would pack one pair of jeans and a sweatshirt just in case. Historical weather is in the 80's.
