names on reservations

In september we will be heading down to the world in two groups. I was wondering is it better to have everyone's name on the reservation individually as we will be arriving slowly over the course of the day. I guess what i'm worried that if my name is the only name on both the rooms will the luggage get confused. i hope that makes sense. thank you.

the luggage won't be a problem - your family not getting their rooms might be.

the front desk can't check anyone in unless their name is on the reservation - if they get there first - this could be a problem.

or the other case - if you get there first then go to the parks - they can't check in w/o you being there at the front desk - no call in won't work - so I would definitely change the reservations to their name. Less trouble for everyone.
