View Full Version : Can't Miss Shows

It will be an adults only trip this September. We would like to catch some of the shows. In the past, we have tended to miss most of them. Can you recommend some can't miss shows. Our current plans include Fantasmic, Illuminations, Festival of the Lion King, Hunchback of Notre Dame and Beauty and the Beast. We will have park hoppers and plan on visiting all of the parks.

Hunchback is no longer there.It was a good one though. Beauty and Lion King are "not to be missed" shows. I like Tarzan too because I like the music. Illumnations is the best firework and I love World Showcase. Fantansmics is GREAT! too.

4. Lion King
5. The Electric Water Pageant, can't recall the real name but that is close. That goes around the deluxe MK resorts, on the water.

The Lion King show at AK will not be running from 8/25/03 until the end of September (I think) - there have been quite the discussions about this show & the rehab coming up. If you can, try to run a search for the thread. I think their stage is being enclosed or something.

We didn't get to see the Lion King show, but caught the Tarzan show - it was great! I loved the music and the performances were alot of fun.

Of course Beauty and the Beast is still my favorite.

Does anyone else cry when listening to the music? Thanks goodness I was wearing my sunglasses.

When you go see Beauty and the Beast, be sure to get there early enough for the pre-show featuring Four for a Dollar. These guys are awesome, and to some, better than the show itself. They normally have off Sunday and Monday but that does change so be sure to ask one of the CM at Theatre of the Stars whether or not they'll be performing on the day you plan to be there.

Here's another vote for Tarzan Rocks!! Excellent high energy show!! Also the Voyage of The Little Mermaid is definitely worth seeing!!

Do not definitely miss either Beauty and Beast or Fantasmic!


And I agree wholeheartedly with Pammy!!!!!!!!!

FOUR FOR A DOLLAR are so unbelievable. I captured it all on videotape and we play it over and over. Just the coolest thing to behold!

You mentioned all my favorites. I hope that Festival of the Lion King is not in rehab while you're there--it's my favorite one.
Also, as mentioned in a previous post, add Spectromagic to your list if it's running while you're there.
