Can you get a PS for the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney for a party of 7 for dinner?

Hiya ~

I'm sure I read that the RFC at DTD acepts ps up to a year in advance.

I've been looking into this and I don't think the RFC at DTD does accept PS, it looks like the one at AK does though. On the RFC website they mention they will take a reservation for groups of 12 or more. I am thinking of joining the RFC's Safari Club, it cost $15 to join but you get a $10 food gift certificate and a 10% discount on meals.

You can make PSs at Rainforest Cafe in DTD from 180 days to 24 hours in advance. The # is 407-827-8500. I called them last month about making PSs for November and the girl on the line seemed a bit surprised. I asked if it was really needed and she said, "To tell you the truth, you'd be the first PS for November. You really don't have to make a PS until 1 month prior." So, I felt kind of dumb and said I'd call back in October. Let us know if you make a PS and how far in advance you did it. I'm curious now.

The Safari Club is WELL worth it! Especially since you don't have to wait as long! Here's their number...407-827-8500.

When you sign up, they will ask your birthdate. You may want to say that it is around the time of your trip, so that you can get a gift certificate to take with you! ;)

It does cost $15 to join, one time fee, but it is well worth it. You get a $10 certificate to welcome you and then birthday certificates, aniiversary, etc. You also can get seated much quicker as a member of the SC than if you just have a PS.

And YES you can make PS at BOTH RFCs. I have done it more than 180 days in advance too but that may have changed since I joined the Safari Club a year ago.
