Club Card and Pass Suggestions Please

We are DVC members and are planning our 1st trip to the VWL in Aug 2001. We will be visiting the parks 4 days in some combination between theme parks & water parks. Any suggestions on pass purchases? We are also going to WDW in February 2002 for 3 days and probably again in Summer 2002. What about pros & cons (if any) regarding the purchase of the Disney Club Card. Are there advantages to purchasing this card? What discounts will I get that I don't get with my DVC membership? Thanks

The only DVC pass discount thru DVC is 10% on UMP and the "magical years pass".

Since it sounds as though you will be there at least 8 days (the AP break even point) in the next 12 months- you will likely be better off with an Annual Pass (AP).

There is about a 5% discount on AP's thru DC membershio- but no DVC discount available.

In addition to AP and Park Hopper discounts available with the DC card, there are also attractive discounts from National Car Rental if you are renting a car.

hi: another advantage to the dc card is 10%discount at the disney stores near you and their catalog online.
