Do all the parks generally get more crowded in the afternoon or just MK? Sounds like we need to be up early and get to MK at opening, leave around 1:00 for our afternoon break, and then return. However, if some parks don't seem to be that bad in the afternoon, maybe we'll do 2 mornings at MK and do our afternoons other places.
Any advice??

I think you'll find that crowds at MK and MGM will drop noticably following the afternoon parades. Many people use this as a good point to head back to the hotel to freshen-up for dinner and evening activities.

In general I think the parks, especially MK, are more crowded in the afternoon. The people who arrived in the morning are still there, and the people who plan to stay for the evening have just arrived.
If you don't want to return to your hotel in the afternoon, it is nice to head over to another park. World Showcase seemed very pleasant and uncrowded the afternoon we were there, and MGM didn't seem to get crowded until later in the evening. Some of the MGM shows for little ones stop playing later in the day though, so check the schedules.

Hi,
I think the rides at Epcot, with the
exception of Test Track, have shorter
lines in the afternoon atleast that is
how it was for us. Good luck

I think AK is less crowded in the afternoon. Alot of people get a morning start and don't dedicate a full day to the park.
