Faxing AKL room/savanah request....

I check in Friday and heard that you want to fax your request in 4 days before. I want the Arusha savannah and the 3rd floor, but I don't want to be too far out (want to be somewhat close to the lobby). Is the Arusha near the lobby?

Hi, we were there in May.. thrid floor...right off the lobby...on arusha....the hall would be very long if you were at the end... we ask to be near the elevator...it was great...and close to the lobby.. i did fax... when we got there ... the CM just ask at check in if we had any preferences... we got just what we wanted... had to wait until about 4:00 till the room was ready... i did not care... it was about 12:00.. if i would of taken another room we could of got in then... i choose to wait... be sure to ask at check in what is available...have fun..amy

We just got back from AKL and I had faxed in requests about 4 days before we arrived. We were on the Zebra Trail which oversees the Arusha savannah. We were on the third floor, about one third of the way down the hall in the 2nd "pod" of rooms, room 3429. We had a great view of the animals. There were no trees in the way. The kids had bunkbeds so there was no kicking each other all night (and I am talking about teenagers here!) We were also near the elevator that goes to the pool, Mara, laundry room, and arcade. Have fun. AKL is great.
