Got the Entertainment book today and....

it expires on November 1!!! I didn't know this. If I had known this I would have waited to get it. My vacation starts December 1 and I need the card for our hotel stay at the Hard Rock Hotel and a coupon for National Rental (which I think I can still use).

What a bummer. I just assumed it was good through December 31. I guess I should have read the fine print.

I hope I can either return or somehow get a card that expires later.

Can you make the reervation before it expires and still use it, based on the date the rervation was made vs. the actual date you are staying? Call and ask.

I've already made the reservation at the HRH and paid my deposit.

They said to bring the card with me and show it at the front desk so I doubt they'd take an expired card.

I just can't believe this. If I had only known, I would have waited to buy the book.

I hope I can return it.

Take a good look at the offers in the book. Perhaps you can save some money between now and Nov. 1 by using some of the coupons. Could be that you might actually save yourself enough to buy the book for next year!

I thought the offers for hotels run thru Dec 31. I could very well be wrong, though. Call the hotel directly and ask. A lot of the hotels have an 800 #.

You can book it now and then she said you must show the card when you arrive.

It's good to book it now so there is availability.
