monorails direction...

From what I am reading the MK resort monorails go clockwise. But we specifically remember going counterclockwise in 99. Went through Contemporary and then MK. Do the 2 monorails go different directions?

resort monorail (inner loop)goes clockwise. mk - contemporary - ttc - polynesian - contemporary

ttc monorail (outer loop) goes counterclockwise ttc- thru contemporaty but not stopping and then mk.......then back to ttc

Thanks a bunch. Been on both and was confused! I wonder if this is the way it was when I was a child? Or did they only have 1 monorail then?
