Starting in Oct Southeast air is flying out of Columbus to Stanford/Orlando I take it that this is a smaller airport, does anyone have any information of this, as anyone flown on southeast? Thanks

Hi missmac,

I don't have any info on southeast but we're useing AirTran out of Dayton in mid Nov. they have a once a day nonstop from Dayton to Orlando international, departs DAY at 7:30 am the return departs Orlando at 7:30 pm.

I got great rates for our trip $69 one way plus tax and charges per person, $606 round trip for 4 people. Check their web site if you feel like driving over to Dayton to start your trip. Prices vary daily on the site and they get higher the closer you get to departure date. airtran.com

Good luck!

Steve

A number of people in the PA area have flown Southeast and have positive things to say about it...We are using Southeast in Dec...but are landing in St. Pete because the great fare and dates didn't work for us to fly into Sanford....

Good Luck...haven't heard anything negative about them...

Hi! I live in NYCity but have family in Penna.

We've flown out of Allentown using Southeast into Sanford and will be doing it again this December. I just booked my tickets today! 4 round trip tickets Dec 25 returning Jan nd were abour $725. for 4 people you can't beat that price in peak holiday season. I could have gotten it a little cheaper but needed to be back by the 5th so my boys could go back to school.

We've found them to be clean reliable and safe. The Sanford airport is not big and you're on the ground and into your rented car in 20 minutes! We lpve it! The drive to Disney takes about 45 minutes. Just a little longer then coming into Orlando Int'l.

If I were to fly into Orlando from JFK in NYC Jet Blue wants $550 per person for the same time period and just about the same flight. Sorry, that extra money we saved will pay our our annual passes.

I would not hesitate to fly Southeat at all or into Sanford. Any specific questions feel free to PM me.

I can second what Mary Anne said , I flew them last December and the only complaint I have is I would like some more leg room , but then again I'm a tall person. I will fly them again in a heartbeat.
