Since I have not tried one yet, I am not completely sure, but it is supposed to be a type of pastry??!! Sold in Canada. By the time we get around there, the cart is always closed!!!

It's a Elephant ear. At least that is what they are called on the West Coast. If you don't know what that is..... a beavertail/elephant ear is fried dough with a topping such as cinnamon & sugar, honey or jam on it. Yum Yum!

I have one every year we go to disney. Its fried dough, shaped oblong. On top they put diff. types of toppings. I always get the chocolate hazelnut sprinkled with confectioners sugar. Its so yummy. The strawberry topping is good also.

A beavertail is the first thing my DS mentioned when I told him we were going to WDW on our vacation. He sprints to Canada as soon as we hit WS and no matter what time of day or night it is he has to have one. Always with cinnamon and sugar. Won't even give me a bite :(
