I wasn't sure which forum to post this message....
My family and I are planning on going to Chef Mickey's for dinner on our day of arrival. I wanted to buy autographs book for my daughters before the dinner. I know that they sell them at Downtown Disney, but I don't think I'll have time before dinner to buy them. Will they have autograph books at our local Disney Store or maybe at the gift shop in the Contemporary?

I think most of the resort gift shops sell them, I don't know about the Contemp. You can also order them ahead of time through www.giftsofalifetime.com or call the WDW merchandise 800#.

You can buy them from your server at character meals.

You can get them at the Contemp for sure. In the gift shop, at Chef Mickey's, and like the previous poster said, from you server. A bigger challenge than finding a place to buy autograph books is finding a place that DOESN'T sell them! Same for rain ponchos :)

Not sure if you are flying, but you can also get them at the Airport gift shop. We just stopped there on our way to pick-up our luggage!!

You can buy them at ANY gift shop, at ANY store or ANY resort! They for sure sale them at Cont gift shop in fact they sale them at all three gift shops at the Cont. You can go into the fanciest store and at the counter there will be autograph books for sale! Hope you have a great time!

Hi. I am new to the board, but have been reading it for about a month now. I read that you can order the autograph books, fat pens(easier for the characters to hold), and guest of honor badges directly from WDW by calling the merchandise #407-363-6200. You need to know exact what you want and be able to describe it since they do not have a catalog.

I found mine at Dollar Tree for a $1 each. They are black books w/ white pages, and I'm going to let my boys decorate them w/ Disney stickers.

You can order them from www.giftsofalifetime.com
They have the official autograph books as well as the big fat pens. They can either send them to you at home via UPS, or they can have them waiting for you at your resort upon check-in (for an extra fee).

We made ours..
paper, clip art on each page, names on it, and laminated and bound..
For about a $1 and the kids had fun making it just the way they wanted
We also did Epcot passports the same way, with a little twist.

We used a plain white hat!!!!
My DD went around wearing her hat and having it signed with a permanent marker. We still have it and she wears it all the time!
It's grreat because it keeps a hat on her head in the sun and she is always being asked about it! We're taking it back with us this year to add to! I bought a Minnie Mouse patch in the shop in Toontown and we sewed it to the front.
She is very proud of her clever mom for thinking of it!!

I just checked out the gifts of a lifetime site. I am interested in the epcot passport, autograph book and fat pens.
How do their prices compare to those at the parks? I have to assume there much cheaper, is that true?
