.....brand new owners in DVC!! We bought 350 points at BWV! I'm very excited, dh is nervous, lol. Dh posted on here while we were there (the 1 day to decide post). Because of our state laws, we can only buy while there, no bringing it home to think about. My cousin lives in Orlando and works part time for Disney and he said it was a good deal and I think that helped dh. Anyway, I'm going to try to book our first trip home in the next few days for next March! Wahoo!!

You and DH will always think of this as one of the smartest decisions you ever made!

Note my signature and countdown timer --by the end of Thanksgiving weekend this year we will have made 5 trips on our DVC points -- NONE of which would have happened otherwise. The accomodations for our August trip taking kids, my parents, and my in-laws would have cost us $5700. NO way could we have taken them without DVC. It is a dream come true!

Encourage your DH to spend a little time on this board until it's time for your first trip home. I think he'll know what a good decision he made before he even experiences his first "welcome home". I'm the one in our family who was a little skeptical/worried at first and now my DH has to talk me out of additional add-ons!

Welcome Home!!! As someone who just took a quick weekend trip down to decide between BCV and BWV...I wondered which way you guys would decide. How did you decide? Did you thorougly explore each resort, decide on std. view points, or just go with the "feel" of each place? We chose BWV for our family. :D Good luck on booking that first trip!

Thanks everyone, I'm so excited!!

TNMom, I saw your post and saw you just got BWV too! We walked around both resorts and looked at the pools and walked around the Boardwalk. It was a very hard decision, I just liked BWV a little better. I'm not crazy about sand in the pool even though SAB is suppose to be great, I just can't get over the sand thing, lol.
