HI
Looking at renting from national for 1 day in Aug. Will be staying at FW and think the CCC is closer than the Dolphin Hotel. Question is; How do you get to the CCC? Is there some kind of shuttle from the TTC, etc.?
Anyone?

The National office at the Car Care Center will send a shuttle for you at your resort. Reservations for the car can be made at 800-227-7368. You must call 407-824-3470 at least two hours in advance to make a reservation for the shuttle to pick you up. Shuttle runs 7:30am to 6:30pm daily. I have used their service and found it very good. Hope this helps a little.

When I went in November, the Car Care Center closed at 6:00 PM. I also have reservations in January 2002 and was told it closes the same time. So please check the times to make sure you don't get there when they are closed.

Speaking of National, are they the only car rental place on site?

karensi:
yes, you can do both at the CCC. It's on the exit road from the MK parking lot.
jakal:
If memory serves me, there's one at the Dolphin (not sure which company) and there are others at the off property DD hotels.

did a one day rental from national and it turned out to be better for us to rent from the dolphin....here's why.
The day that we needed the car, we simply got on the Dolphin resort bus from one of the parks. This office is only open till 3:45 (I believe - call 1-800-car-rent to double check). We wanted to return the car after 6:00 pm and since that is when the Car Care Center closes, we would of had to call a taxi. But since we rented from the dolphin, the valet takes the rental car after the office closes and again used the dolphin buses to head to downtown disney.
I know I'm rambling but I hope I made my point.
