Anyone else AP sneak peeking on Aug 1st? (MS)

Anyone else heading down for the AP sneak peek on August 1st? I know people have had good luck getting in before the official open date, but we just booked our trip for that weekend to make sure that we can ride MS.

Strangely though, Disney must be hurting for guests, we were able to book into CBR (even with the POR closings) only 2 weeks in advance with AP discounts..

Everyone is heading down for AP sneak peak.....You and your family and me and mine will be there. Along with several thousand s of our closest friends and relations.. It should be very crowed. We were always planning on going that week but now i am possessed and leaving at 4:00 am on saturday, August 1 and driving straight through to get to Mission Space for Sunday.

We'll be there too. Me and grandson are AP holders, so will attempt to participate and, of course, get the AP holders pin. We leave tomorrow for 11 days.

Do you really think it will be crowded? I'm hoping if we go first thing on Aug 1, the lines shouldn't be that long.

DH doesn't think it will be crowded. I do.. I guess time will tell as to how long the wait will be on that weekend. DS's want top ride non-stop for the entire day with a break at Test track... Hmm
I would think that first thing in the am should be okay compared to later in the day.

Anyone having flashbacks to AP night at DAK and how crowded and the flack Disney took for that?

I am going to be at WDW that weekend but you won't find me anywhere NEAR Mission Space!!!

Hi all ...

We will also be down and are AP holders ... I'm still a bit on the fence with the whole centrifuge thing. I have no trouble with RaRC and all the coasters for that matter. I also have done Kraken over at Sea World ... BUT ... last time I did get pretty dizzy due to blood pressure meds. :( I'm still O.K. with RaRC ... I just don't know. (I've read all the info. about MS but the jury's still out.)
It's just no fun getting older!

Hope to see some of you down there anyway!

Not on August 1, that is my arrival date. Definitely on August 2 or 3.

With this "event" spread out over 3 days, and it being a single ride and not a gathering, we're not likely to see the same problems as the AK event.
