I have a fairly large amount of DD left from my trip to WDW in May and would like to use on our 8/9 cruise. Other times we just left the card handle eyerything. Can I apply the DD up front like our onboard $200 credit to be used first, or must I wait until there is a balance to pay?

You can just go to Guest Services when you check in and put them on your account so you will have a credit. Just make sure you charge more than your credit because I don't think you will get it back.

Yes, you can use your DD to prepay your account, however, you might want to ask before doing so because it's possible that if you don't use up what you put down that you may not get it back.

we did pay with DD last trip but I can't remember if we were able to use them towards our tips for the staff. So you might want to ask them that to.
