rude castmembers

[we love disney]

We just returned from 8 days at Disney and were appauled by the treatment we were given by some of the cast members also. We commented several times that they should consider a job behind a computer somewhere instead of dealing with the public. They acted as though we were an inconvenience and were extremely rude. Others however were very accommodating and helpful. I wish I had written down all of their names to praise the ones who helped make our trip special and to report the ones who were rude.

We are just back and we had a couple of bad experiences with some of the characters. I went into detail on this in my trip report. I wonder if they realize how memorable they are to the guests who they are rude to. And, of course, the outstanding CMs are equally memorable! Hopefully they realize that.

When you talk about rude CMs -- do you mean at the parks? At the resorts? At the parks? Both?

I posted a new thread about the trials and tribs of our trip! We just got back Saturday, and we did encounter some rude CM's everywhere.

I worked retail and I try to remember how hard it is to be UP all the time!! But, so many people were grumpy, it just took the fun out of it.:(

I'm starting to understand why the Psycho Mickey and Dale we encountered were so groucy! I saw a report on MSNBC and in the paper this morning about how Disney hasn't been laundering the character suits good enough and the CMs are getting mites (and other types of lice that I refuse to mention!):earseek: I have a new sympathy for the rude CMs we encountered:eek: !
