We may have to go AS for our trip next June depending on finances and discount codes. What is the cheapest you have gotten in summer for AS?
June is regular season. Ap rates have been $59 or $69. If the mods are only $15-$20 more, I would upgrade.

Unfortunately I won't qualify for AP rates. I remember seeing the rates with the discount codes last year for AS. We paid about $94 a night at POFQ and I believe AS was about $10 less with the code. Does this sound right to you?

We went in September 2001, and we stayed for $49 a night. Also went in January 2001 on the same rate..

Our only trip to WDW was in August 2001. I was able to get All Star Sports for $49 per night. Not bad for a first timer.:jester:

$49 a night , also.
Would rather pay more to stay at a moderate, but that is just me and my family's view. We find a resort a nice place to be , in and of itself, and more than just a place to sleep.

$48/night ... but that was a "Canadian at par" deal. Have also stayed for $49 and $59 on an AP rate. I know that sometimes the postcard rates, as well as rates for people of particular states sometimes matches the AP rates, so be sure to check out www.mousesavers.com to see if you qualify for anything.
Good Luck :)

Right now I have Pop Century booked for $69.00 a night how do I get it down to $49.00? DU is (hopefully) taking over our reservations because I booked myself using my CAA card.

$49 as well in August 2001. However that was a code...
Check with www.mousesavers.com every few days or so.. you should get some info there.
$69 isnt bad for the rate though. I would pay that.. although once you are used to $49, its hard to go that high.

We paid $35 va night at the ASMO, and $60 a night at POR, and $99 at WL. But that is VERY unusual!

I had the luck of getting $49/night last year under a GA resident code. We stayed at the ASMu.
So far, I am standing on a non-discounted $87/night at Pop Century for December. I am hoping for a deal, but if all else fails, I will ask for the AAA discount. I really would love for a good deal to come along though. Mickey
