I voted stupid because some people are going to do whatever they want to do regardless until WDW does something to make them not be able to do it. They bend the rules and justify it in their own head because signage isn't explicit enough, or someone told them something 15 years ago.

I put fun, because everytime I see this thread, I have to laugh out loud... Of course, people who post this question probably don't understand the extreme debates that have been broadcast on these boards... they are just asking a simple question. But its fun to read the arguments over and over again.

I voted Fun. I wish there was a "funny / stupid" vote. Seeing that I was in this debate a few weeks ago...I opted to keep my comments to a minimum on this particular thread.
But I did enjoy reading some of the idiotic comments by some of the posters. You are talking about a MUG. !! Who freakin cares ?
It does seem like there is a trend .....it seems the people who ALWAYS buy new ones are upset at those who bring the old back and reuse them and do not buy new ones.
They figure "if we had to pay for it...then so should you.",....and the ones who bring the old ones back figure...."Disney gets our money anyways...so we will end up spending it somewhere else."

I voted for fun too,I just can't believe the way people react to a simple question.I agree with Anne on this one, people will end up doing whatever they want anyway  .Meanwhile, other are getting ulcers debating the issue to death.
I have a sugestion maybe the mods should place a permanent post on top that states the official policy on the mug issue and pool hoping. This way we don't have to debate over them every week. ;)

I voted stupid.
People need to worry about themselves and what they do and not other people!

I voted stupid. Because, if people want to do wrong and be sneaky all for a free soda/coffee then let them. Myself, i would am not cheap enough to try and steal a free cup of soda. Any body who thinks a one time charge of 10.00 gets them free soda/coffe for their entire life of wdw trips is living in la la land. All the signs i have seen clearly state "for length of stay" not length of multiple stays. I personally feel any new threads started about mugs should be deleted asap.
Just my opinion

There goes how nice the other post had been. Bet this one gets closed quickly.
Didn't take long for this post to get nasty..and the other post went for 8 pages without people being called sneaky, cheap and accused of stealing.

The thread that you are asking to vote on was a legitimate subject started by a fellow DIS'er who just needed a question answered.
This thread of yours is basically to stirr up trouble and offers no help or useful information to anyone.
I hope the moderators close it quickly.

Before this gets closed or moved:
I voted fun. I would have voted "wicked fun" had it been an option. (But I just finished HarryPotter5)

Why would they close this thread? Its just a spoof on the hilarious nature of how Refillable Mug Threads end up into heated debates. I'm sure the poster was just trying to have fun with this... :D
I think the people that actually ask the questions on here concerning refillable mugs are genuinely curious to what the policy is. Its everyone else on the boards that like to argue "the policy" that makes these threads "fun" (as I voted).
:p
Please refrain from name calling or insinuations. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and people will make their own judgement call on this as with everything else.

I would have said...wickedly insane fun!! It's nice to see polite diff. in opinions. Will the issue be resolved? Nope, not until the powers that be are a whole lot more definitive in their wording. Go, enjoy, be happy! It's a mug, not a life issue. And to those of you who don't find enjoyment in this issue, then pass on by. As long as we're playing nicely, it's fun.
