This will be our 2nd Xmas trip to WDW. The last time we went it was to late in the month to get to do the Xmas party plus i caught the flu and we didn't even make it to the MK or AK. I need help in figuring out where you can eat in the park and the earliest time i can get there and not have to use a park hopper day. Can a sit down dinner be done so that we're finish before the party starts. Thanks for all your help.

For the last 2 years, they have let people in as early as 4:00p with only their party ticket and no need to eat at a restaurant.
You can eat at either LTT, Crystal Palace and the Castle the party nights and counter service too. For the last 2 years LTT has opened it PS early, the same time that the tickets went on sale so they are pretty much booked up. I tried just adding one person to my PS and they told me it's booked solid so unless I wanted to change my PS to 6:55p, I was out of luck! I'm going to wait for CP instead. At 60 days out, the other 2 restaurants will open up.
Yes, you can book your PS early enough to be done right before the party starts. Last year my PS was at 5:35p and we had a few minutes to kill when we were done eating.
Have fun!

Last year we had a late lunch/early dinner at our resort beforehand. We arrived at MK around 5pm, got our wristband and went in.
As far as LTT, you can try calling WDW and see if there might be a cancellation for dinner before the party.
Good luck and have fun!!! :p

You can also get a PS at the Crystal Palace. If you make it for after 4:00 pm, they will probably let you in on your MVMCP ticket.
We did this two years ago and will probably be doing it again this year.

Last year LTT opened up more tables at the 60 day mark. I know because I was able to get a much better time than I originally had at that point.

When you go in before the official time for a PS is it only to eat, or are you allowed to go on any rides?

Up until 6:00p you can ride whatever...then they herd those without PS to Tomorrowland till the start of the party. You can ride rides there.

That would be great and that's what I'm hoping for! I think they probably opened up because some people who have LTT but really wanted CP switched over at the 60 day mark. But maybe they also hold some tables for the 60 day mark as well for those who arent't even going to the party so they have a chance at a table.
