Just got a call from Jaki and found out that Disney has approved our offer! She turned it in on June 30th and got the news yesterday, boy was that quick (only took 14 days)! We are so excited!

Here are our details:

$72/point

350 point package at Old Key West with use year June

211 banked from 2002
350 from this year (2003)

Closing costs $600.

Only paid 9 months of maintenance for 2003 points.

The original offer was $70/pt and I pay all of 2003 maintenance.

We offered higher per point and Jaki feels that kept Disney from practicing the ROFR.

We got our news on our daughter's birthday! Double the excitement!

Good for you! We are also waiting for the ROFR decision. Our contract was submitted to Disney on June 26, earlier than yours, but we haven't heard. The agent tells me that the panel meets every two weeks, which leaves me wondering why our contracts were not decided upon at the same meeting. I called after reading your good news, but the agent says they have not yet had notification. Can anyone shed some light? Thanks
