I love to dance and want to know what the best clubs are to go to on my trip. I will be spending 8 nights and would like to go out at least 3 or 4 times. I know I will visit Pleasure Island but would like to try another club or two. Where are the best places for dancing?

The best places to dance are definitely Motions at Pleasure Island, and I would definitely recommend Jelly Rolls at the Boardwalk (a rockin' piano bar)!! They are both great fun!!

I like BET at DTD and Motions can be alright, but sometimes plays some really old pop songs (like Will Smith's Miami) If you go to downtown Orlando, there are a few clubs that are really great although I can't think of the name of this one that I know of. I'd have to get back to you on that one. Have fun!!

Without a doubt, go downtown to Church Street Station.. there are countless clubs within walking distance of each other! There is something for all musical tastes. I particularly like Antigua for the music.. Chillers is next door and always seems to be packed! Go to this website http://www.953party.com/ and they have an "event schedule" on the main page. It's a good way to see which clubs are hopping which night. They also have a "listen live" feature that I use every day!

Pointe Orlando is supposed to have two particularly plush nightclubs... I think one is named Excess... We didn't make it up there, but heard good things from some locals.

Also.. the groove (no caps, by choice) at Citywalk Universal is ultra-cool as far as the decor. The music is a little too top-40 for my taste, but still worth seeing if you have the time.. Not to mention Citywalk is cheaper than PI..

The PI clubs and Citywalk clubs are okay to look at... okay to dance at, VERY expensive to drink at. See my reviews of them here:

The good thing is that you have a lot of time to see them all! So have fun and dance safe!

P.S. When are you going? It would be sweet to be there at the same time...We could tear it up!
