Travel docs for Dutch Mum??

To think I'm 39 years old and didn't realize my mum was a Dutch citizen. I figured since she had married two American citizens she was an American. However, she's not. Can someone please tell me if she can use her Green Card or does she have to get her Dutch passport renewed for the cruise??

She will need both her green card and a current passport for the country of which she is a citizen. She needs the passport to enter other countries/ports (same as if she were flying to them) and she'll need the Green Card to prove she's allowed back in the US :)
