Carribean Beach Info.....

I was just switching my resort today to the Carribean Beach Resort. I had asked the cast member to note on the reservation that I would like to be in Martinique or Trinadad North, close to the main pool and food, so as she was typing, she told me that beginning in 2004, should have mentioned that I will be traveling at the end of January 2004, Martinique and Trinidad North are "Preferred" Building choices, due to a demand of request for these building. They were all taken at the time, and will charge extra, she didnt have the amounts because it was not available. I will continue to call, I'm sure something will open up. Just wanted to pass this information on, maybe you all know of this, it was news to me! Just like the All Stars!!!

I predict you will be seeing more of that. More and more people are putting in requests ahead of time and that all takes time to process.

A few years ago before the Internet and BB's how many of you put in the detailed requests that I see on these boards?

I think it is a better value to get a preferred building than to have a water view. I heard the charge was $10-15 a night for those buildings.

I stayed in TN and no way would I pay $15 more for it! For a little more than that you could be at WL or AKL. Jamaica is a beautiful section and is right over the bridge from OPR. You will love CBR. It's not my favorite moderate, but the rooms are just gorgeous and have so much storage! The food court was just redone and there is a new sit-down restaurant. Dh and I may return here for our next anniversary trip, but would also like to try POR.
