Mardi Gras paradw, when

Does anyone know where the parade is? Also, what time does it start. I've been told "when the park closes". So if it is open until 6:00 the parade starts right at 6:00? I'm trying to figure out when to make dinner reservations. Thanks for the info! :)

You're correct! The parade begins immediatly after the park closes. Generally the parade starts near Jaws and ends by Twister.

BTW, a helpful Mardi Gras parade tip:

Be near Jaws when the parade begins. Very few people watch the parade from the beginning so you will get TONS of beads. We literally got over 150 hundred between two of us last year, by watching the parade near Jaws.

After the parade ends, head towards the end of the route(near Twister). In about 5 minutes you'll be able to catch the parade again. There will be way more people watching here and the atmosphere is much more festive, just don't count on many beads and dubloons.
