If wet and wild is open then we'll buy the flex ticket and if not I'll have to refigure. Also, is it warm enough for DC or is it even open then? I'm not familar with Florida Oct. weather.

Wet n' Wild was open last October/November as we were there. It's plenty warm enough to swim in the water parks at that time of year - we went most days.
As far as I know Discovery Cove is open all year.
