Disney Awards Site is up

The new Disney awards site is back up. Looks like they did a lot of work but unfortunately I find the site much harder to navigate now. I managed to find the search sites and the bonus links and the trivia but haven't yet found the daily site visits.

Yes the site is now accessable, however it is not officially reopened. We are in the process of double checking for errors and making sure all links are working. We are also going to be sending out an email to each registered member today notifying them of changes and how to proceed with the program. By coming in early and looking before reading, will be confusing so please wait just a bit more for your email. If you do not receive your email LMK

Should we be expecting that e-mail today??? I went onto the site too and it looks a bit more confusing than before. Unfortunately, I only have this time in the afternoon to be doing the sites today and would like to proceed with it. Should I wait until tomorow??

If this is the only time you have available then yes waiting until tomorrow would be the better option because no entries will be counted until after the emails go out.

Last time I was on DIS (over a year ago), this board wasn't yet here, so not sure of the rules.

Can someone tell me more about the program and post the URL?

The Disneyawards site is actually closed to any new people. It was open only to 1000 people and maybe in the future will invite more. We cannot post the URL unfortunately. So sorry I cannot help you more.

ALL 1029 EMAILS HAVE BEEN SENT OUT AND QUITE A FEW CAME BACK WITH INVALID EMAIL ADDRESSES. I AM GIVING MEMBERS 1 WEEK TO RESPOND TO EMAIL AND COME BACK. SO TO THOSE WHO HAVE NOT YET REGISTERED, WAIT. WE MAY BE REOPENING TO REPLACE THOSE MEMBERS.

Hi Kris!

I've been checking these boards daily to find out about your disney awards site but was sad:( when I read that you're not taking new members. I then read your additional post that you may take new members if all don't contact you. I would love to be included in the site if at all possible. What would I need to do if there is space for me? I know you said you were giving everyone a week to respond so was just wondering what I should do to follow up? I think it's great that you're offering this service even if it's just for current people already signed up! I just recently started 2 other award programs but have been so hoping to get in on yours! I got an e-mail yesterday, clicked on the link and was brought to a page full of instructions. At the bottom of that page was a place to put in your e-mail and confirm that you wanted to stay in the program.

On the "Ballot Box" page today, the entries are listed only from May 16. On the "Gossip" page the following is written:

"Please note that entries for May 30th will not appear in the ballot box until after noon time EST. I need to compare entries with those who have consented to continue with the program. I am also receiving a ton of email. Some of which can be answered simply by reading the email page we linked to members. I will be available to answer question on & off throught the day for the next few days."

I didn't receive any type of e-mail confirming my registration, but I'm not sure that we will. I figure I will know I'm confirmed if my name appears on the entries list later today.

This is funny. I'm a member and I didn't even know. When we originally signed up, I was told to wait for an email confirmation as they were only taking so many members. I never got one. Today I got the email being referred to, so now I find out I've been a member and didn't even know. Now all I have to do is figure out how to do this program! I sure would love to earn passes.

I got my e-mail, answered and tried the program. I found it so confusing doing the searches I gave up. I was hoping for an improved site, but it seems to me it is hard to navigate and a lot of work for a very small chance of winning anything. I will probably drop out. I need to think it over.
