Upgrade at Portofino?

Hello :)
I booked my vacation to Portofino (In May) through a travel agent. If I get the Loews Hotel Card...
1- Is it still possible to get the extras?
2- What are the extras?(room upgrade/wine?)?
3- Do I call the Loews # and explain?
4- Do I say something at check-in?

I know it sounds like a lot of questions, lol. I just want to get the most of this vacation as possible :) Thanks in advance!!!!!

we have reservations at PBH, then i called loews and signed up for the card, and they told me to let the hotel know i have joined Loews First, and give them my membership number, which they gave me on the phone....hope this helps....havent done it yet, so dont know what perks to expect--they offer upgrades, and either wine, fruit basket or milk and cookies upon arrival i think....
