The torch lighting ceremony is held every evening at 6:30pm.

We just returned from RPR as well and loved everything!

We were disapointed because on our last night- it was SO hot and the kids wanted to swim and wouldnt you know it- the pool closed for the rest of the day/night due to a leaking swim diaper. The lifeguards (I felt sorry for them cas it wasnt their fault) were so nice about it though and suggested people try the other universal pools. We went to the Hard Rock pool because weve always wanted to stay there and it was great. I guess the "closing of the pools" is a common occurance- so be prepared.

In June at RPR we lost a night in the pool due to kids being sick in it.:(

Wow, it looks like we were all there around the same time. We had a wonderful time though it went too fast. We stayed here last year too and it was just as beautiful as I remembered. Never saw any pool closings.
