Are AP rates available all year?

Just returned from Orlando...stayed at Dolphin for half of stay with the teacher discount, and stayed at Coronodo SPrings with the AP discount for the rest.

Now, I purchased my AP because we were down there for 10 days, and we of course got the discount on the Coronodo. My time off is as a teacher, and would consider a trip down there over Christmas or Thanksgiving. Can I count on getting an AP rate then, as they are as of yet not published?

Technically no. AP rates, like all discount rates, are offered as WDW finds them useful. There is no guarantee of future AP rates.

In practical terms, there is every reason to believe there will be AP rates this Nov-Dec. It is less certain that they will be applicable during the holiday periods, but I believe this was true last year so likely it will be this year as well. But be prepared to jump on them as soon as they are released.

AP rates have generally been available for most of the year, with the exception of the weeks surrounding Easter and the weeks around Christmas. Last year, AP rates expired on 12/19, making it a little difficult to book an AP rate for Christmas time without missing some school.
