I called Debbie last night to book our Spa and Palo reservations and she is just wonderful. I did mention that she has quite a reputation on the Dis boards. She says she just loves how organized we all are. I booked brunch at 10:30 on Monday followed by massage at 2:15 and Palo's for dinner on Tues., she was also able to give me APLAPLA rotation. She also mentioned that she was trying to get herself on our cruise but she wouldn't know for sure until 6/1. I mentioned our planned dis meet to her in case she was able to join us. Still haven't received our docs yet, hopefully soon! 14 More Days of School!!!
Are you we there yet???

Rose, you don't need to get a new ID. As long as it isn't expired that's all right. They really (and barely do) look at the picture, not the address. After all, people do move. HTH

Rose, I'm not sure. Below is from DCL's website. I do know if you have a passport it's usually okay to use it if it's expired (6 months or less). I don't know about driver's licenses, etc. and it really doesn't say such below. I'd call DCL and ask 1-800-951-3532.

"What documentation do I need to bring?

All U.S. and Canadian citizens must travel with proof of citizenship, which is a valid passport, original, state-certified birth certificate and picture identification, or a certified naturalization certificate with a picture identification. Acceptable forms of picture identification are state or provincial driver's license, or federal, state, province or local government photo I.D. card. Guests age 17 and under who are U.S. or Canadian citizens are only required to have proof of citizenship, excluding picture identification. These guidelines are based on U.S. government regulations which are subject to change at any time. It is the Guest's responsibility to check with their Travel Agent, government agencies, embassies or consulates prior to their vacation to ensure that they have proper documentation. Any Guest traveling without proper documentation will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of cruise fare will be issued.

New security guidelines require all adult Guests to show a picture I.D. to embark and disembark the ship in all ports, including Castaway Cay. Please be advised that anyone under the age of 18 wishing to go ashore unaccompanied will be required to have a consenting parent, guardian or other responsible adult with them at the gangway, to provide their signature as authorization."

:goodvibes Looks like we all have our docs now!!! My kids only have 3 days left of school. I made a sign for our stateroom door. My oldest rolled his eyes and asked if I was really going to put it on our stateroom door. I already have all our toiletries packed and I started to put aside some clothes in our closet. If I knew they wouldn't get all wrinkled, I'd probably put them in our suitcase. I am bringing Downy wrinkle release. It really works on the wrinkles. I better stop babbling now.

Babble away, Judy. This is when it starts getting fun! Every little thing you do, no matter how seemingly trivial, is one step closer to walking up the gangway. Try not to peak too soon, though. As a veteran of many DCL cruises, I can tell you that the more you prepare the less worries you have and the more you can have fun and savor the experience.::yes:: As an aside, Debbie and I have accumulated a few tips that help with the little odds and ends and useful little things that may not occur to you until you're out to sea! We'd be glad to share some of these. Wes.

Rose,

I plan on using it on anything that gets wrinkled in our luggage. I also want to use it on my skirt or the boys pants, since we'll wear them more than once. I won't have to worry about ironing things. I tried it on my DD's blouse that was all wrinkled, and it worked really well.

One big tip on Downy Wrinkle Release - use the original bottle. Don't try to use a different sprayer. We did that on a trip to New Orleans, and the bottle didn't "mist" the spray enough, and it ended up staining my shirt. I was really miffed!

sweetpea3470
05-30-2004, 06:43 AM
I USE THE WRINKLE RELEASE FROM A STORE WE HAVE AROUND HERE CALLED FAMILY DOLLAR. IT WORKS JUST AS GOOD AS DOWNEY & ABOUT HALF THE $$. ONLY MY OPINION.:)

WRH3MD
05-30-2004, 04:47 PM
Hi folks, here is a list of a few things we've learned that help. If some of this stuff is intuitively obvious, forgive me. :teeth:

1. black Sharpie to mark the tags DCL give you to claim your luggage. ie "Harden 1 of 8" pieces that is. It makes them easier to spot for the handlers.

2. extension cord. Believe it or not when you have more than one hair dryer going before dinner it helps as there are few sockets in the room.

3. Batteries, yeah batteries.

4. Sunscreen, yeah sunscreen.

5. Ladies: be prepared for those unexpected events. My wife leads me to believe the selection of such fem hygeine products on board is thin. (No pun intended.::yes::

6. Speaking of which, you can literally get on the ship and a week later get off whithout needing cash once. Based on experience however there is one place you will definitely need a few quarters: The ladies room on Castaway Cay. ::yes:: This came as a surprise to dh.

7. A small fan, maybe, as the luggage allows. For reasons not clear the AC in the staterooms sometimes isn't working well and the room can get warm.

8. Drivers license. Carrying a passport on and off the ship may get cumbersome and you'll need pic ID everytime you leave the ship. That is if you have a passport. You don't really need one.

9. Leave the tux and shirts and suits in the plastic bag that they come back from the laundry in. For some reason it helps prevent wrinkles. At least it did for me.

These are a few that I can think of off hand. Hope these help a little. If I think of others I'll add them.

Cheers, Wes:cool1:

Hi everyone!:sunny:

Hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend. We are recuperating from an all-nighter at the post-prom party. DH and I were chaperones and had a great time but pulling an all-nighter now is much different than when we were in college!!:o

I have a tip to add to Wes' list. We always take an over the door shoe holder. I comes in great for storing film, gum ( can't by it on the ship, in WDW or at the airport), keys, sunglasses, snacks, room cards, ect.....it works especially great if you have an adjoining room since you can hang it over that door!

Looking forward to 4 more day of school and DD's graduation on Friday. Once this week is over, I'll really get in high gear for the cruise!

Have a good one!

Hi everyone,
It's been too busy at work and I've let things slide. Now it's time for the anxiety attacks! Denise, do you have Debbie's number for concierge ? (we're in a category 3) I was going to wait until we boarded to make the brunch ressies, but I might as well do it now as it's about the only thing I really would like to do with my DH on one of the sea days. Of course it can't clash with the Character Breakfast day, because gosh knows I can't miss that. (My DH & DDs will want to, but tough-they are going and it will be fun.)

And as for those docs, they aren't here yet, so I will dash off a e-mail to my TA and hope they arrive soon. I want to boogie to the doc dance too!

We never go anywhere, so I have no idea how much to pack for clothes. I prefer to go light and do a wash once if I have too. How many of what are you all bringing? I know we'll each have a formal outfit that can be tweaked up or down for the formal/semi-formal nights. At least two bathing suits each is obvious. But I was just wondering about how many shorts, shirts etc. you find are practical. Do you find a suitcase each plus a carry-on is too much or just right? Ugh.

Since you are all making magnetic door decorations I will have to also. My DDs and DH will flip- ha to them.
:hyper: I'll have to think up something original.

Let's see, what else am I forgetting.......I have the basic meds, sun screen, and toiletries already packed, along with the snorkeling stuff we'll probably use once, and the soft-side cooler I expect to use a lot.Does anyone ever bring pop-up sun shades things for the beach, or is that going just a bit too far.......?

Hey congratulations to all the grads out there! What a feeling that must be. You must all be exhausted with the parties and proms and festivites going on. ENJOY!

Well, I will go check out some more threads to crank myself up another notch. I will never get to sleep tonight.

Hi Kathy, figure one nice outfit for dinner for 4 nights. One night is Mexcialifragilistic and you'll need a flowered, hawaiian shirt and shorts certainly informal and two formal nights. We go formal both nights, I'm not dragging that tux down there just for one night. Except for bathing suits virtually the rest of the time you can be in shorts and a t-shirt and if you plan to wash you may get away with two or three changes there. There were days at sea when we got up, put on a bathing suit to got to buffet breakfast (A wrap for the ladies and a t-shirt for the men) and go to the rainforest in the afternoon after a grueling day at the quiet pool and not shower or get dressed until we were ready for late dinner. We consistently overpack and we never learn. Better you take one extra outfit than be caught one short. Wes

Just wondering about shows and dinner coordination, we have late seating, is there time after the show to go get dressed for dinner, or should we wear our dinner clothes to the show? What time do you usually get through at late seating?

Aliwas, You should have plenty of time to get back to your room to change for dinner.

As far as what time you get out of the dining room for late seating -- that's going to depend on your server. We always choose late seating. When we've had a good server we've been out of the dining room by 9:45pm. On our last cruise our server had several large tables so we usually didn't get out of there until 10:20-10:30pm. If it's any help, we always let the kids leave the table to go do activities, clubs, etc. They usually don't want to eat dessert much less stick around with us. ;) HTH

WRH3MD
06-01-2004, 12:55 PM
A lot of times when you have early seating, the servers are pressed to get you out to make room for the next seating. Late seating has the advantage of not feeling rushed. With few exceptions our servers haven't minded us lingering around the table to finish off a bottle of wine or an after dinner drink, or just chat. Sometime our kids stayed with us but most of the time they bolted for places elsewhere. Good food, relaxing environment and good company, what more could you ask for? Wes

(Oh yeah, I know a good cigar and a congac on deck 10. Or a snooze on the heated lounges in the Rainforest. Or a morning walk around deck 4 as we slow down to approach Key West. Or seeing my family all decked out in formal gear. I could go on and on. You'll see...):wave2:

One other tip I wanted to share (and forgive if this borders on TMI), is that we pack about twice as much underware as we would on a normal vacation.

The reason being is that you go on shore excursions, you walk, you sweat, you go on deck, you swim, and then you come back to the room to change for dinner. You want clean stuff to put on. That equates to at least two pair per day.

Last time, we ended up doing laundry during the trip. This time, we are just bringing extra.

I've been fighting a miserable cold since Friday and just got a chance to read your post. If you still need it Debbie's direct line is 407-566-7411.

I think everyone has what the need for ths trip. DH picked up his suit from the tailor today and I think maybe one more pair of shorts for my DD and some sunscreen and the packing can commence. DH swears we aren't going to over pack this time. LOL

Rose, how did you make out with your id? trying to get all the school stuff organized so it doesn't creep up on me. Finished my IEPs and narratives
just report cards left.

Hi all, we will be in OKW Friday. By tradition we eat at Japan in Epcot Friday night, get up and go to Olivia's for breakfast and leave at about nine. That gets us into the terminal parking lot between ten and ten-thirty. My dd turned eighteen and she wants to try out Pleasure Island with her brother Friday night. Lord knows when they'll get in. As long as they're at Olivia's Saturday AM. :earseek: We will leave for Fla Thursday and stop in Savannah. Hard to believe we depart two weeks from tomorrow. Already starting to pull stuff together, memory sticks, batteries, socks...Agree with the tip on underwear. I tried wearing them into the hot tub to rinse them out but got so many looks I stopped the practice and now pack two pair per day:crazy: They usually won't let you into the terminal before ten. That gives them time to get evrybody who just got off out of the terminal. For those of you, like me, taking a lap top, they will want you to turn it on like at an airport. Beware of forgotten sharps in your carry on luggage. It will be xrayed and I've seen them fuss over even nail clippers. They take the security just as seriously as they do at airports. Lastly pick up a bottle of your favorite hooch on the way. It's cheaper than on the ship. Cheers, Wes :wave2:

Wow,
Thanks for all the tips folks. I still can't believe this trip really this close. Got some great news today-my Dad's cancer is at barely detectable levels and hasn't metastasized anywhere, and the oncologist says he'll see him in 3 months for a routine check. Now I can go on this trip without worrying. I work with him in our family business, and I was concerned he might have to start up some treatments that would leave him feeling lousy and without me around to pick up the slack. Anyway, now I feel like I can really finish the packing plans and get out of Dodge!

So I will plan a couple formal outfits; four night of nice outfits and a crazy Jimmy Buffet style outfit for the Mexicali-whatever night. Maybe I'll buy that in Key West and have the outfit be a souvenier of the trip.

Has anyone checked out Ron Jon's surf shop in Cocco Beach? I was thinking of picking up an extra bathing suit there-again, a practical souvenier. I understand it's open 24 hours.

Well I have to go crash-it was another long day at work. I just got home at 10pm and have to be in again at 8. But knowing this trip is just around the corner makes it that much easier!
Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

Oh- I forgot to add "Hi Judy!"
Hope all is well with your family. Sorry A & E haven't been writing lately. They both have been caught up in some projects for school and the sports schedule. School ends for us the day before we leave, and I have kinda put the pressure on them to make the best of the last couple weeks to finish on a strong note.

At the beginning of the e-mail exchanges I would let them know when a note came in from your kids, but then I eventually left it up to them, so I didn't know they had slacked off. I just looked and your e-mail isn't on our old mail list and wasn't bookmarked to the address book, so that may be the problem too. Send another note when you have time, and I'll be sure to follow up. I know A is getting a little nervous about the whole trip, but she's more shy and quiet anyway. E is pretty excited, and is usually up for making new friends. It will be interesting to see if they take to the "clubs" or would rather stay around us, or a combination of both.

Looking forward to meeting everyone on Sat. at 10pm on Promenade-that's right, right? :teeth:

OK folks: settle:earseek: Don't peak too soon. The ideal time to peak is when they announce your arrival onboard the ship. Then you can grab the nearest bahama momma and howl like a banshee. We do!
I can feel the anticipation on this board. You sound like a great group. Much more enthusiastic than on past cruises.
Or an ideal time to peak is when you look down at the dock and see space appear between it and the side of the ship.
The meet is on for 10 pm at the promenade lounge Saturday. I don't think we'll have much trouble telling who each other is. I think we'll know each other on sight.
Another ideal time to peak is when the captain clears the channel, drops off the harbor pilot and guns it.
I'm getting verklempt. Talk amongst yourselves...There I'm better.
For all you newbies out there, I think you are going to have an experience like no other. It's reflected in the enthusiasm of those of us that have sailed on the Magic and the Wonder before. Wes

We should be at the port around 10:30 too! We are flying in on Friday morning, stopping at the grand Floridian so the girls can get their braids done and then driving over to Cocoa Beach.

Kathy, Ron Jon is definitely a good place to pick up some beach attire, maybe we'll see you there.

Beth, I teach Special Ed., 3rd grade resource room and 6th grade inclusion.
We are also staying in Cocoa beach Friday night but at the Doubletree Hotel.

Anyone staying near the port Friday night and planning on eating at Grills, there is a 10% off coupon on their website.

Hey everyone,
We are bumming about Smahty Jones here in Boston-me and the girls were jumping up and down yelling for him.

Denise, thanks for the tip on the coupon. I am printing it out as I type.

Went shopping today for the DDs and have them settled, so now I can concentrate on me and the DH. He's also pretty set, as I ordered some things for him months ago. We aren't big on outfits here; have the extremes of suits and jeans, so we were hurtin' for some new summer clothes.

Wes, thanks for all the tips. Don't worry about us-we'll just be on Cloud Nine the entire time!

Hope everything is going smoothly for all.....See ya soon

Well, we now have a graduate in the house! :cheer2: ! DD graduate with honors last night in a beautiful ceremony on our football field! I don't want to brag but...she sang the National Anthem and was a speaker so needless to say we were and are very proud!!

Grad. party was this evening at our house and because of pouring rain, we were all inside!!! So now everyone has gone home and everything is cleaned up....time to focus on the cruise! I have lots of stuff to get and that will keep me busy for the next two weeks!

msdisney: I am always in awe of spec. ed. teachers. You seem to have the patience of a saint and a wealth of knowledge about how to help kids. I work closely with our spec. ed. teacher when she has first or second graders and she never ceases to amaze me! Looking forward to meeting you!

During the grad party, we all stopped to cheer for Smarty Jones...great race but not the outcome we were hoping for!

Just think....2 weeks from right now we'll be in the Promenade Lounge meeting everyone! Can't wait!

Hi everyone
Congratulations to all the grads and all the parents!:sunny: What a wonderful weekend for you all.

I managed to pick up the clothes for the girls over the weekend, so I am halfway through my packing list. I will finish this week, as I never know how busy it will be at work, and I don't want to lie awake nights (like I have been doing the past few) thinking about coordinating outfits that will keep us traveling light. I think I have it down to two rolling 27" pullmans (one containing an extra carry-on size rolling suitcase for bringing selected beverages aboard the Magic and stuffing full of t-shirts for the trip home) and one soft side rolling duffle from LL Bean for the 4 of us.
Gosh, what a waste of energy:rolleyes:

Anyway, I wanted to ask what you are all planning for the Saturday we disembark. I have no plans right now and have a couple ideas, but wondered what you veterans recommend.
Since we are flying in on Thursday night, we will probably do the Space Center on Friday (unless my DDs talk me into the surfing lessons at Cocoa Beach-cool, but what if I hurt myself and ruin the trip. I am almost 42.:yo-yo: ; but I digress)

If we don't go to Kennedy on that Friday, I think we'll go the Saturday we leave the ship. Our flight doesn't leave until after 5pm, so that gives us until around 1 to do something. The other option is just to head back to the airport and chill for the day. Maybe it's not too late for a day room at the Hyatt. Another option is the Downtown Disney, but I don't know if we need any more shopping or want to get hot and bothered in crowds the last day of a relaxing vacation.

I left it open ended with the thought of arranging for the Disney bus to the airport; the Disney transfer to WDW and then a town car to the airport; or renting a car for the day so we can be free agents.

What do you think?:wave2:

DoomBuggieDriver: We are going to spend 5 days in WDW after the cruise. I don't know how old your kids are but our teenagers are exhausted the day we disembark. They pull an all-nighter that last night hanging out with all their new friends. We have early check-in at the Dolphin so that they can crash! I guess if your kids can handle it, the space center would be a great place to visit!

I agree with Beth and Lisa, the kids are definitely tired. I thought it would be good to do Kennedy Space Center after our last cruise and the DDs were way too cranky to enjoy it. When we finally left they crashed in the car all the way to VB. Some down time is definitely in order after cruising. I'm sure mine will sleep on the way to Fort Myers.

"Beginning June 12 on the Disney Magic® and June 13 on the Disney Wonder®, AAA/CAA Travel

credit good toward merchandise, spa treatments, shore excursions and other onboard activities. This
benefit replaces the complimentary soda program, which will now be available to all Guests at the

Complimentary sodas will also be available on Castaway Cay at Cookie’s Bar-B-Q and the adult-only

Hey Kath, word of caution about the cigar shop in Cayman. I bought a pack of Cohibas and took them back to the ship (I actually limit my smoking to cigars on the cruise, really. I do not claim any expertise) only to find that they were moldy. The nice man at the duty free shop on the ship was kind enough to clean them up for me and they were still good but be careful. I can taste that cigar and the snifter of cognac now, the sea breeze wafting across deck ten as I sit with my dw on formal night and count the stars and my blessings. Night all, Wes.

WRH3MD
06-12-2004, 05:26 PM
Well, this is our 9th DCL cruise and I find the need to overpack irresisitable. I have been the cause of more hernias among the terminal baggage handlers than anybody else. Figure one nice outfit, polo and slacks, for 4 days, one formal and one semiformal (coat, tie and jacket unless you're like me and wear the tux twice) and one tropical/mexicali how-many-flowers-can-they-put-on-one-shirt shirt and a pair of shorts (this is the one exception to the no shorts at dinner rule), two bathing suits, that way one is always dry and underwear. Two pair per day unless you plan to bring laundry detergent or rinse them out in the hot tub:confused: We have found that most of the day at sea is spent in a bathing suit. And jammies if you need 'em :earseek: and a couple of t shirts. You can pick up a t-shirt at Key West and on board. But, underwear is crucial:crazy: Wes

Hi all, two items occur to me. One, when underway deck ten can be very windy so laidies with big hats plan accordingly. Second, if you are planning on leaving a car parked at the terminal it will cost $70 but more importantly, if you leave any crumbs in the car from the long journey put some ant traps on the floor. Trust me they will be an unpleasant surprise Saturday morning when you get in the car to drive off. So either don't eat anything in the car or be forewarned. Wes

Although I won't be driving and leaving a car at the terminal, I have heard about ants being in the cars upon returning from a cruise. On another thread someone posted that they cleaned their car thoroughly because they had heard about the ants but when they came back they found in the car anyway. Great tip about putting ant traps in the car.

Hi Everyone,
This is so exciting! The girls are starting to get psyched too, but my DH claims he's not getting worked up because he doesn't want his expectations to be too high.

I have all the clothes piled in my living room, and soon realized everyone is ready but me! I did so much gathering for everyone else that I forgot I will need more than a pair of cargo shorts and a Red Sox T-shirt. So it was off to the mall....Need one more dressy pair of pants and I'm done. Then I will join DRClaws in pulling stuff out of the piles. I have two big rolling suitcases (one packed with an extra carry-on and a soft duffle for future use) and one rolling duffle for the shoes/snorkle stuff. I even weighed them to see if I was over the limit, and so far so good. I refuse to use more than those, so I will be cutting.

Wes, I think it's great that you look at this as a nice opportunity to dress well. My DH isn't up for the tux. But I thought I might measure one of his suits and order a tux from the company that sends them onto the ship. Then if he gets into the swing of things he'll have one to wear, and if not it can stay in the closet. Maybe the girls can talk him into it! He thinks my DD (13) isn't dressing up for the formal night, but we are going to surprise him with all of us in nice dresses (for once) I even told him she was a total pill at the mall and I had to give into a dressy skirt for her.

So it's off to plan some more. Looking forward to meeting you all on Saturday!

Wes, sadly the inventory was depleted of all L/XL JMC T-shirts. The Bookstore Manager even went back into the stock area to check. Smalls and Mediums abound, but the "normal" ;) sizes were gone. Such is the story of end of fiscal year inventory time and the desire to deplete stock before their move.

The next "best" was a T-shirt type material with a mock turtle neck (and probably long sleeve to boot) for $24.00 :earseek: I didn't think it was work the money to begin with.....and some lovely collared polos for bigger bucks as well!

However I did score something Jefferson for you and Sweetpea to be given at the DIS gathering (if DW and I can waddle to it immediately after dinner!).

Much has been said about me already on this board, for I am the DS of Debbie and Wes (DebbieDVC and WRH3MD), and the DB of Lindsey (LinnyLye). I am getting so excited, yet there is still much to be done on my end. I have a lot of laundry to get done tomorrow before I can even begin to think about packing. As my father preached time and time again on this board about not peaking too soon . . . well guess who is already packed and hounding us to get it done . . . haha. I only find this funny because he will not be taking his cloths out of the bag until Saturday. Which means some things will be wrinkled. I have to go get some items cleaned, and go pick up my tux. I'll post the details tonight when I have it in front of me. You can probably have our coupon since I don't believe we'd spend the required amount to take advantage of it (not sure if food/drink purchases count).

Hi everyone! Sounds like all of you are way ahead of me! Haven't even started packing yet although there are piles of clothes all over the room!

We are at different stages of excitement in our house....DS (14) has been watching our last cruise video over and over and playing my Jimmy Buffet CD non-stop. DD (18) is busy lifeguarding at the pool and with the boyfriend so she's not really too excited at this point. I'm busy just trying to organize everything...it seems like everytime I run to Walmart for a few things I always forget something! DH is very calm about the whole thing and looking forward to the drive!

Rose: Hope your DS's graduation goes well....it's amazing how quickly they grow up!

See you all real soon!!

It's a "free gift" when you spend $30 or more at the Margaritaville Store. We'll Stash it in one of the carry-ons and bring it to the DIS Meet.

I think by reading the posts it seems that most of you have Main (early) seating. We have Late seating (works out better for us Californians). I know also that Aliwas and her son have Late seating as well. Sometimes (depending on your server) Late seating can end at 10-10:15-ish. I know it's going to be a long day for us all but I (and Aliwas too) am planning on coming to the Meet so please don't leave until I (we) get a chance to put a name with a face :teeth:

TIA

As if 3 days from a cruise wasn't exciting enough, we just received word that the INS (or now known as the BCIS) approved our application for foreign adoption. So, as soon as we get back from the cruise, we put our final paperwork together, get it apostiled, and send it off to Russia. Hopefully, we will have a little Christmas Present by the end of the year.

This will truly be our last "Childless Vacation"!!!

God bless you, Randy. It is people like you that keep the earth spinning properly on its axis. The rest of us fools keep trying to figure out a way to mess it up. You have saved a life. I know the feeling. Best Wishes to you. We will serve up a toast in your honor Saturday night. (You drink, right?) Wes

Everyone morning before we leave for Florida, my dad runs into the hospital to take care of some last minute things and then brings home McDonald's breakfast. While eating my sausage egg mcmuffin with cheese, I asked my dad if he signed off on the boards. So, here I am. In approximately a half hour, we are piling into the van and embarking on what I expect to be a wonderful vacation. See you all Saturday!!!

Happy and safe traveling to all those leaving today!!

Aliwas, glad you're back from your business trip. My ds tells me every day that he is so excited to meet your son. :)

I am an obsessive planner but failed to marry one. However, he has been more on the ball for this trip than any other so I will finish up packing this afternoon.

Woke up this morning and am dreading going to work even though it's only for four hours. After work, I come home to clean bird cage, guinea pig cage, gather them and the dog and it's off to the boarder we go. Wes, I know you're on the road now but I am verklempt and I mean big time!! Wish I could have that glass of wine right now. LOL

Hi Janine! Back late Saturday and off to my great-niece's 1st B-Day party yesterday. So I'm still "unpeaking." Downloaded the shots from my camera last night, but haven't had a chance to check them out....since I took about 350....I'll have to find our two pics. I'll probably do that this weekend.

Let me know your e-mail account and I'll send the over to ya! I'm at x5-5001.

It was fun meeting everyone. Where did the week go??? If anyone else rebooked for September 10, 2005 Western, let me know!

Janine, I figure you and I can get together to "torture" Buddy if he comes to JMC. :p
