After reading all the good info about the Trendsport Lite by Baby Trend, I considered buying one for our trip. I already have a lightweight stroller that doesn't recline all the way, no snack tray, no cup holder. So, I was ok with spending another 40. for one with all this stuff. I went into Babies R Us and got excited that right in the middle of the main aisle there was a whole display of these! I grabbed one, and even used a Toy R Us coupon on it. The stroller ended up costing about 25. Only problem is, what I bought was the regular Trendsport. I didn't realize this was different than the Lite version. This one didn't feel that heavy, though. Is there a big difference in the weight of the Lite and the regular?

BTW, I just called BRU- they said the difference between the two strollers is 3 lbs. Any thoughts?

I can't answer your specific question, but can tell you we took two strollers on our last trip (boys were 1-1/2 and 3-1/2). One was the Graco Literider and the other a larger Graco (Trendsetter, I believe). We had no problems at all with either stroller. We were able to fold them quickly to get on the trams, they both fit into the monorail just fine, etc. I didn't regret for one second taking two regular sized strollers with us. My kids were very comfortable, were able to nap (they didn't recline completely, but the boys were old enough to nap comfortably in them), and my husband and I each had our own cup/snack holders on the top, as well as the kids having their own. I just don't understand how kids can be comfortable in those small umbrella strollers...I would think they'd feel smooshed up and much hotter! (sorry...I am digressing!)

To answer your question...I don't think 3 lbs is going to make a difference!

Sorry for the ramble!

if you are happy with it, then I would take it. I don't think it's necessary to take the lightest stroller possible with you - you are only carrying the thing onto the bus and off again, or putting it in the back of your car, the rest of the time you are pushing your child in it, and there comfort and ease of pushing are much more important.

Is the stroller you bought called BabyTrend Eurotrend Sport? That is the one I just purchased 2 weeks ago from Babies R Us. If it is, apparently, this stroller is made specifically for Babies R Us and can't be purchased elsewhere. It is a great little stroller. Light weight, reclines and has a basket. I just purchased the cup holders and attached them myself.
