Hey folks... just wanted to let you folks know that the new Polynesian bus stop is open. As some of you might know, the old stop was HORRIBLE... and very unfriendly to those needing the use of a lift or ramp.

The new stop is fully accessible, and a HUGE improvement.

Tyler could you do me a favor and relay my thanks to your Bus Driving Co-Workers....

During my last trip 2 years ago (and I'm coming back this december WOOHOO!!!) Ya'll were so kind and helpful to me. I try to be as kind back as I can be. But a couple time while you all were being your DISNEY BEST some of the Commando WDWer's around me were puttingme in a bad way. I felt bad that I once in a while got a little sort with those who were helping me b/c the unkindness of others was getting to me. :) so than k you from the bottom of my heart...and be watching for me this December :)

I noticed a new little improvement when DH and I were just at WDW. Some of the bus stops had some blue lines to help line up the back door when stopping. I wondered if that was for the drivers or so that people traveling in wheelchairs would know where to be?

It's for us drivers. There are certain stops, where if you line the bus up incorrectly, you run into a pole that blocks access to the ramp or lift. Because of different door locations between the Nova and the RTS, some stops will have two lines, one with R and another with N. The driver simply lines up the middle of the door with the marking, and voila, perfect lineup for the ramp or lift! :)
