My guide just called to introduce herself (my original guide left) and tried to tempt me to buy more points, but I resisted! ;)

Anyway, she gave me some info on Saratoga Springs that I thought I would share:

- she saw the room models and they are very nicely decorated. Same size as BWV.

- she expects sales of points to start in the next 1 or 2 months because BCV is going to sellout.

Hey fellow PAer. Thanks for the update. I hope they don't make it to tempting. But I bet they hit us all with a pre-opening deal of some sort.

Did she mention price or length of the SS contracts?

She said she didn't know the price per point yet. Didn't say anything about length.

One other thing she told me - the guides work on a 4 day on/2 days off schedule. That way their day off varies since DVC is a 7 day a week business. She mentioned it when she said to call her anytime. She also mentioned her and her husband have been members for 5 years. Her name is Susie Farnsworth.

For what it's worth. . .

I read on another site that, effective July 25, the spa will close for a year or so. Evidently the therapists are being laid off; other staff will be relocated. I wonder what kinds of changes we'll see if and when they reopen.

that is the first I heard of that. I find it real hard to believe a Spa that just made a big list of top spas would be closed. But will have to wait and see.
