Here's a dahlia that is trying. Its first bloom wasn't very nice, but it is progressing.

These are my two butterfly bushes. They are attracting lots of bees this year. BIG bees....:(

I have liatris planted here and there and they're also attracting bees....big and small. It's getting hard to be in the yard and not get buzzed or slammed into by a large stinging insect.

My gardenia bush has been WONDERFUL lately. I'm trying my hand at rooting some more.

Those gardenias must smell heavenly, Heather! :) Your dahlia is gorgeous. I wish I had room for a butterfly bush, yours look great!

Really, you're being slammed by large stinging insects? ;) Awww...not pleasant I'm sure, but I was amused by how you phrased it. :)

Everything is beautiful. Love the Gardenia bush.

I love these plants, it would grow great as long as I could grow it outdoors, sadly I have a black thumb when it comes to growing things indoors. I have a few plants that have survived over the years, how I don't know. I put them outdoors in the summer and they do wonderful, until they have to come in.

Love the dalia also.
