Poseidon's Fury On Schedule?

Does any one know if the new refurbed Poseidon's Fury attraction is on schedule?

An IOA insider some time ago said the new show would be ready by June 21. (which just happens to be the exact date I will be there)

I think the statement was that soft openings (rehersals) would begin around the 21st. The hard open date is not until early July. The 21st is a soft date and is subject to change. Hopefully, it will have something for you to see while you are here.

Earl: Does "soft opening" mean that they let a few guests try it out?

i think it will mean rather it will only be open for a few hours or it will be open but not advertised:bounce: :p :bounce: :p :bounce:

Well, it's kind of both. What it really means that it will not be listed as being open on the park's official schedule. So there's no complaints allowed if it doesn't go or breaks down, etc.. They may do one show in a day, or several, or skip shows. It's sort of "live practice". The more they do, the closer it becomes to the routine schedule. The first few test runs would probably have a limited number of guests.
