pool hopping?

I just returned from a 4 night stay at BWV and I received a message on my telephone answering machine after I checked in stating the following: Due to the anticipated high crowds staying at Y&BClub during the Memorial Day Weekend, pool hopping at Stormalong Bay will be suspended for the long holiday weekend. It left no room for misunderstanding, which was good, and made it clear that pool hopping would not be allowed for that time period.

We returned from our annual trip to Boardwalk in early May and we pool hopped to Stormalong Bay and also the new pool at the Polynesian resort.
No one hasseled us or even asked for ID.
It worked exactly as it should!!!

Can we pool hop to the Swan and Dolphin? My DD saw some pics and asked if we could go there. Anyone know?

The Swan and Dolphin are not Disney hotels so the answer is no, no pool hopping or any other Disney disounts. The exception is that DVC has negotiated discounts for some of the restaurants.

We (me, wife and 2 small ones) will be staying at OKW in September for the first time. What's the easiest tranportation method to get to stormalong bay? Do we need to take towels? Should we come dressed to swim or is there a changing room?
