How do you get tagged by the tag fairy?? I know all about it but can never seem to be tagged.:confused:

I've seen people *searching* for the tag fairies on the Technical board. I went looking there, too, but did not get tagged. I know that one day, a tag fairy will shower with me pixie dust....and a tag! :bounce: Good luck!

Well, as a ductape patrollee, I can give you a little insight on how it works, ok?

First off, Tag Fairies are like Tinkerbell... To get their attention you have to close your eyes, believe, and CLAP CLAP CLAP!

Other times TF's see you say something funny and stick it to ya!

But remember, Tag Fairies are watching you......... aaaaaallllllwwwwwwwwaaaaaaayyyysssssss wwwwwwwaaaaaattttttccccchhhhhhhiiiinnnnnnggggggg yyyyyyyyyyyyyoooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuu..........

Mum has a whole scrapbook of Annette Funicello (photos, scrapbooks, clippings, cool pics with the other MMC) I love looking through that book. I like to think that was a time when people were always nice and you expected that. You didn't have to wonder if you would get nice or nasty. The Tag Fairy is an elusive creature (read: board moderator) who bestows humorous comments upon members' board names. If you ever look on a board and see a bright, shiny colorful comment just under a member's name in a post, that was the Tag Fairy's doing.

And if you look under MY screen name, you'll see no such thing. I've been ignored.

It's not a silly question at all. When I first started visiting the board, I thought the Tag Fairy was an invention of a board member about a teeny tiny little guy/gal that floated around you and made sure your shirt tag stayed firmly tucked in.

Than I realized I was stupid, that I was no longer 6 years old, and that my Mom is not teeny/tiny and certainly not a fairy.

And don't NOBODY make any comments with "fairy" and me in the same sentence! LOL! :p

I think I remember a post not too long ago about the Tag Fairy - My memory isn't that great but I think it said that the Tag Fairy won't come if you ask for a tag. The Tag Fairy would rather suprise you.

The tag fairies do not like clapping/begging/asking. If it is not a surprise, the TF's aren't doing their jobs correctly. :)
