I love it when you can eat lowfat food that has a lot of volume compared to eating a smaller amount of food that is more fattening and doesn't leave you full.

I do Weight Watchers

Last night DH made Bratwurst sandwiches. I had one hoagie roll for 3 points, Bratwurst for 8 points and corn on the cob for 2 points. - It filled me up, but I wasn't super full.
Total points - 13 points

Tonight I had
fresh spinach, chopped tomatoes, cilantro & homemade salsa - steamed - o points
3 ounces shrimp - 1.5 points
7 ounces flounder -cooked in pam, garlic and a little spike seasoning - 5 points
1 cup - Wild Mushroom Couscous - 3 points
1/2 cup of black beans - 1 point
Total points - 10.5

Tonights meal was so filling! Lots of protein and very little fat.

It was so good.

I have also been eating many meals like this. I love making lowfat quesadillas with lots of homemade salsa. These really fill me up!

I know what you mean!

I love having a big salad!!! We have a salad almost every night before dinner. I found some great pre-washed lettuce (Earthbound Farm Organic, YUM!). My pre-dinner salad usually fills me up great, then I'll have some chicken breast and a hefty serving of steamed broccoli. Last night I just used left over chicken breast and topped my salad with it. I added a little extra lettuce, about half a cucumber, 1/4 red pepper, 6 grape tomatoes and 6 black olives (and 2 tbsp light ranch dressing). YUM! It filled me up big time!!! :)

Of course, I love bratwurst too! ha ha ha! :)

Have you tried grilled or roasted veggies? We halved some plum tomatoes this week, sprayed a glass baking dish with olive oil PAM and put the tomatoes in cut side down. I added about a dozen whole peeled cloves of garlic and about 20 whole mushrooms, gave the entire dish a quick spray of OO PAM and roasted them in the oven at 375 for about 30-40 minutes. YUM! The garlic was so tender, the tomatoes had a great flavor and the mushrooms were perfectly cooked. We steam cauliflower and use a teeny bit of hummus with it as a condiment. Serve the whole shebang with a small salad and chicken breast. It is almost too much food! :)
