I bought one of those Mccormick packages for country style white gravy and it had a recipe for Chicken Fried Steak on it - Bread your cube steak by dipping it in milk and then coating it with flour (with salt and pepper) Is there any way to add a little zing to this? Just seems a little blah.

I like a little bit of Tony Chachere's seasoning thrown in with the flour. You could try a little bit of garlic powder and cayenne, maybe.
