According to Screamscape, the announced coaster for the Lost River Delta area of Tokyo DisneySea will be themed to Indiana Jones and may be similar to the one in Paris.

I like the first part, but tremble at the second. The Indy Jones coaster in Paris is just about the lamest coaster I've ever been on. It was a crushing disappointment, and the theming was adequate at best. I rode it in 1997, then again in 2002 after it was changed to go backwards. If it was a poor coaster frontwards, it's a disaster backwards - especially since it wasn't designed that way.

I sure hope the one in Tokyo is better. LDR needs another ride to take the overflow from the other Indy ride (which is awesome - like DL), but I'd really hate to see a clone of the Paris ride. It needs to be much better themed to be worthy of the incredible Tokyo DisneySea and the track layout needs to be much more exciting.

Is the coaster really that bad? I've herd that it's pretty popular. Also knowing DisneySea I'm sure they won't put a lame coaster in that park.

Is the coaster really that bad? I've herd that it's pretty popular. Yes, it is. It's an outdoor coaster so people line up for it. The capacity is low so the line up gets long. The ride was so poor that they changed it and made it go backwards - it didn't help. In fact it made it worse.

I hope you're right. I hope they keep the theme but completely change the type of ride.
