S&S Arrow Dynamics

A recent dinner with a consultant engineer colleague of mine that has worked with Arrow Dynamics brought this rumor. Disney brass and S&S Arrow folks have been visitng with eachother at variuos sites looking at some of S&S's most recent deliveries (X at Magic Mountain). Arrow has built many of the rides in use at Disney Parks (Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Matterhorn...) and rumor has it that Disney wants a "major" coaster. The old rumor of a Matterhorn type ride at EPCOT was mentioned during our dinner and so was world class mega coaster for AK. Both were on the table within 3 years. The discussion also got into whether or not a "typical" Disney visitor would enjoy an "X" type ride or any other nearing that level.
I hope these to be true and I think this type of attraction would put WDW at least back on par with Universals IOA for pure adrenaline excitement!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Lets hope this title is correct and it's not just another mine ride though the MT. That title puts it up against some pretty stiff competition though....

The "mega" coaster an EE were never connected. The AK ride was in addition to EE.
Even though they are rumors, I wanted to keep that straight:smooth:
