No. Typically these do not open up until late summer/early fall. :)

We will be going for Christmas (first Christmas trip) and was told to do the candlelight processional. Can somebody tell me exactly what that is? It sounds like it is a thing not to be missed. Thanks!!

I think it's well worth getting the dinner package. Save all your Epcot shopping for that day! :)

I read about the 3 tiers of dinners but what do you get with the meals. Is it a buffet or are you allowed to order whatever you want?

Several of the restaurants are buffets: Akershus; Biergarten; and Garden Grill. Last year you got an appetizer (or soup or salad), an entree, and dessert. Beverages were extra - unless included with the buffet. There was also a 15% merchandise discount at Epcot shops the day you attended the CP! :)

I did this on my last trip 2 years ago and really thoughtit was worth it. We had dinner at the French Restaurant and then headed over to see Phylicia Rashad do the reading for the processional
Enjoy

A word to the wise. If you book a CP dinner package, make sure that you keep ALL your receipts to prove that you booked the package. Last December, one DISer took on the task of booking dinner for 16 of us at Japan. When the day came for our CP dinner, it turns out that Disney had no record of our reservation. Try as we may, we could not convince Disney that we had prepaid for 16 dinners. The day came and went. No dinner. No preferred seating. No 15% discount. And no refund. I don't fault the DISer who setup the dinner. It was a daunting task to arrange and I know that this person feels awful about the whole thing. I only want to make sure that this doesn't happen to anyone else who might be considering the CP dinner package. Be careful and enjoy. It is a most wonderful program (even though I had to sit outside in the pouring rain).
