O.K. I know you deduct fiber and sugar alcohol to get to net carbs but on some things instead of "sugar alcohol" it lists"SUGARS". Is this the same as sugar alcohol or is this the BAD sugar???

NO...Sugar is the BAD sugar...Sugar alcohol is okay to deduct because it is not digested the same way.
Make sense?

Honestly, since sugar alcohols and glycerine tend to stall me.... the only think I deduct is dietary fiber. It makes it simpler and it seems to have better outcomes (at least for me personally).

Ya know what Dixie Dreamer....I am going to agree with you on that!!! Geesh!!! Ever since I have been drinking more crystal light and eating carbolite bars again...I am totally out of Ketosis!!! I think the sugar alcohols are stalling me along with the aspertime.(sp). I am going to cut out both of them and see if that starts me back into ketosis. I was going really strong for the last week...then those are the only things I added back in ...and BAM I am out. Wish me luck

Sugar alcohols totally knock me out of ketosis!!! I only lose when I stay on induction and can maintain when increasing with sugar alcohols..............

I can eat 1/2 carbolite bar without going out of ketosis. You may want to try that.
If I'm really craving something sweet I get an 8oz. package of cream cheese (philly) and add 2 packets of splenda and mix it all up so the cheese is almost whipped. It tastes just like cheescake! I don't eat that all the time, but sometimes it will save me from eating a real piece of cheesecake.
Good Luck...we all learn by our mistakes.
