Hi there - we're headed to WDW for Halloween this year. We'll be traveling with our DD4 and DS9 months (in Oct.) We're bringing a lite weight stroller and a hip carrier. My son is getting to heavy for the front carrier because of my back. We have a great stroller - but I'm about to purchase a hip carrier. Has anyone purchased one they like? My son will be 20 lbs or more. Most hip carriers go up to 40 lbs, however, there are 2 dfferent styles. The HIP HUGGER CARRIER is more of a sling that goes over your shoulder - no waist attachment - and the other, EZ PACK HIP CARRIER connects around your waist and shoulder. Any one have any feedback? This is a purchase primarily for Disney as I suspect I'll have the baby in the carrier the more than the stroller (for rides, etc.) Thanks!! :earsboy:

We loved our Nolo cotton sling. Our second DD practically lived in it from 4-months to 18-months of age.

I second the sling idea! I have a mayawrap which is unpadded. It is great! www.mayawrap.com

Try: kangarookorner.com my daughter loves their slings. She used one for my granddaughter until she was 2years old. It came in very handy at DW for both my granddaughter and grandson. My daughter also has a really nice mesh water sling that is great for taking the baby in the pool and still being able to play with my granddaughter.

We loved our Nolo sling! I walk the dog quite a bit every day and we used the sling instead of the stroller for the 1 st year.

We have the EZ pack hip carrier and I love it. It doesn't get used a lot since DD is now 3 1/2. However, she still comfortably fits in it (she's small for her age 3'/28lb). We took it to WDW in May and she opted for that rather than the stroller a few times. I was the one that wore it and didn't have any discomfort.
