that I will get to book the last week in January at BWV? I just called and they said there is 2 br available for the week that I want but I can't book it until end of June. I went ahead and booked OKW just in case. Do you think it will still be available a month from now or should I not get my hopes up?

Hi Dave&Danielle. I say you havea good chance of getting it! I would book the OKW and sit on the waitlist if I had to. But I think your chances are great. The waitlist worked great for us. We got our room in only 2 weeks notice for this past May. Good luck!!

Really, it is difficult to predict the availability, but I would think the last week of January may not be overly busy. I have had very good luck at reserving BWV even only 4 months out, so hang in there and call just as soon as you can make your ressie. Good luck! :D

The lady at MS recommended calling on the first day and then calling each day and adding a day. I didn't get into it with her but that seems very confusing. Do you think that is necessary?:)

I would say theres a good chance, but as its been pointed out, its hard to predict. There is still plenty of time, so even if that one is gone, you can go on the waiting list and hopefully another one will become available.

If there is only one 2BR available for the time you want, then calling daily will increase your chances of getting your reservation. If there are 50 villas available, one call is probably fine.

I also think the chances are in your favor. Since MS told you there is only 1 unit left, the advice to call daily is good. I would also suggest you ask to be put on the waitlist for any day that wasn't available - many here report good luck with the waitlist and you will have several months for it to work. Having OKW as a back up will hopefully make the "waiting" for what you really want a little easier. Good Luck!
