How is Caribe Royale? I need one extra night somewhere, want a nice place but not tooo much money. I really get nervous about staying in a place I have never stayed from past bad experience. I thought it would be nice for 14 yo girl also with large slide, but like a very nice clean room. I also love tropical landscaping, the grounds really make it for me also in a resort. Thanks for any help.

It's a good property. It's clean and has a good pool. It's very close to MGM and EPCOT. Try www.quickbook.com , I got a good rate from them. The breakfast is only so so (others may disagree) but it's included. The suites in Towers 1 and 2 have a refrigl the suites in tower 3 have mini-bars. The tower lobbys have a continental breakfast which may also be a good choice. Most of the suites have 2 double (full) sized beds NOT queen size beds as their web site claims. The scheduled bus service to Disney is adequate but I used a rental car.

Caribe Royale is an outstanding resort...I highly recommend it. We have used it for our transitional resort between our stays at Universal and Disney...I would use it if I was staying out in town. The rooms are clean...the main pool is beautiful...the private villa pool is nice as well. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. I found the cheapest rate by calling them directly and using AAA...you can check out their website at cariberoyale.com (but the rates were higher on the website..wierd..but maybe that has changed now)
Good luck and have a great trip!
